Kaufman High School

Renovations and additions at Kaufman High School are part of a district-wide effort to address aging campuses and provide new instructional space for a growing school district. Currently, the high school is composed of multiple detached buildings and classrooms that open to the exterior, complicating safety and security efforts. The design team’s goal for the new facility is to create a singular building that brings academics, fine arts, athletics and career and technology programs together under one roof. A focus of the facility is the creation of classrooms and labs to house a CTE component. New technologies will be incorporated into the wing, as well as throughout the building to encourage innovation in learning.
