Kaufman High School

Renovations and additions at Kaufman High School were part of a district-wide effort to address aging campuses and provide new instructional space for a growing school district. The high school was composed of multiple detached buildings and classrooms that opened to the exterior, complicating safety and security efforts. The district’s goal for the project was to create a singular building that brought academics, fine arts, athletics and career and technology programs together under one roof. A focus of the facility was the creation of classrooms and labs to house a CTE component. New technologies were incorporated throughout the building to encourage innovation in learning.
