CASE STUDIES

Manor ISD

Communications Campaign

Manor ISD, a fast-growth district of approximately 10,000 students bordering Austin, was amidst academic and enrollment challenges when they turned to Huckabee to help them develop a campaign to attract and retain students by highlighting academic progress in the district and its unique academic pathway offerings.

Our process for developing a communications campaign for Manor ISD began with a comprehensive research phase to properly understand and assess the current positioning of the district. Our report focused on four areas of research: data collection, perception survey, competitive positioning analysis, and brand audit. Upon completion of the research phase, Huckabee developed campaign recommendations based on the findings.

Ultimately, the “Making Our Way” campaign was developed and implemented. The Huckabee team provided turnkey services from the strategy, messaging, graphic design and videography to produce a comprehensive campaign that included print, videos, advertisements and social media.

Channelview ISD

Storytelling, Videography
+ Election Services

Channelview ISD is a 6A school district located approximately 15 miles east of downtown Houston. With consistent growth putting almost every campus at capacity and many campuses over 40 years old, CISD hired Huckabee to guide them through what would be their first bond election in a decade.

Huckabee worked with CISD to facilitate a citizens’ planning committee to study and prioritize the facility needs of the district, ultimately leading to overwhelming consensus to call for a $195.4 million bond election for May 4, 2019.

With a focus on growth, safety and the unique impact to each campus, Huckabee developed a bond information campaign that led to 75.23% of the community voting in favor, the highest approval rating in district history.

During the community engagement efforts of the bond election, CISD realized a need to improve communication with stakeholders and how they share their story with the community and beyond. The district engaged Huckabee to produce a “Look Inside Channelview ISD,” a state-of-the-district video that captures the unique personality of Channelview ISD and tells the story of the amazing things happening in the district. Huckabee also helped CISD produce their Back-to-School issue of ChannelViews, giving new life to a district newsletter with fresh, engaging graphic design. A district-wide brand refresh is now underway. We love when we can provide MORE for our clients.
