Aledo Middle School

Additions and renovations at Aledo Middle School address aging conditions and support parity with a new middle school within this growing community. Huckabee facilitated an extensive planning and design process that engaged AISD team members, students and community stakeholders.

Renovations include the reconfiguration of grade levels and improvements to all classrooms, enlarged science labs, removal of CMU walls to accommodate larger corridors and collaborative space, added shelter components to the gymnasium, re-purposing of the old gym for fine arts, and expansion of the cafeteria. New construction will add CTE spaces, 12 additional classrooms, SPED / life skills classrooms, teacher work centers and a new field house.
