Gatesville Elementary School
Huckabee and Gatesville ISD designed a new elementary school to serve 800 students in grades 1-3. The new facility, a single-story solution, was constructed on the site of the existing elementary school.
The design creates three grade-level wings, which include 12 classrooms, a flex classroom and support spaces. The key feature of each wing is a central, multi-purpose instructional space. This area connects every classroom and provides access to technology, flexible furniture and open space that accommodates multiple classrooms for break-out instruction.
