Future Ready Learning Complex
The Future Ready Learning Complex features an innovation center and programing for automotive, welding, robotics, aeronautics, architecture and construction, culinary arts, cosmetology, cyber security, gaming bio-med and health sciences, business, broadcast media, education and space for emerging paths. The design takes cues from nearby airport hangar and industrial buildings. The open interior utilizes steel beams, concrete columns, polished concrete floors and wood ceiling to support the aesthetic.
The building centers around the commons and dining which features a 2nd level overlook that creates an arena space for programming and competitions. Classroom areas are highly interactive and flexible. The Future Ready Learning Complex also houses the Bridges program (community and vocational education), Richarte High School (an alternative school of choice), the Lone Star Circle of Care Clinic and an early childhood center. CTE students are engaged through the care clinic and the early childhood center as part of their instruction.
