Erica Bish

Erica is MOREgroup’s senior executive director of public architecture and the executive director of our West region. For nearly a decade and a half, she has displayed passion and talent for public architecture, working with communities, understanding their needs, and generating lasting impact. Now, she’s both the voice of MOREgroup’s public practice and a partner in bridging expertise between public architecture, education, and healthcare. With a keen understanding of the way trends in one practice area forecast opportunities in another, she’s fostering development, communication, and collaboration across them all. 

Open communication is integral to Erica’s leadership. She believes every team member has a voice, valuable thoughts, and worthwhile opinions. Among a communicative team, she knows there’s talent and wisdom, and within that talent and wisdom, success to be won, and excellence to be achieved. 

For over a decade Erica was involved in CSI, the Construction Specifications Institute, which brings the A/E/C community together to set standards for how the industry writes specifications. She has also given her time to local outreach programs, Metrocon, and AIA’s Committee on the Environment. 

Idaliza Camacho

Having deliberately chosen roles that broaden her experience in all aspects and phases of a project, she has developed a deep technical understanding of what it takes to bring ideas to reality. Her strong leadership and pragmatism coupled with a forward-thinking and creative approach encourages stakeholders to engage and build consensus during design and ensures a solid strategic plan on which to execute a successful project.

Bergen Hashemian

As Director of Strategy, Bergen supports Huckabee’s strategic growth and leads the firm’s business development and communications efforts. She has been with Huckabee for more than seven years, developing and implementing comprehensive strategies and solutions that respond to the complex needs of public education. Bergen also works with our clients and the Huckabee team to share the stories that shape public education and celebrate the impact we collectively have on the success of all students.

Kate Dunfee

Kate is a seasoned architect whose career has centered around designing educational environments. She started at Huckabee over 16 years ago and has since positively impacted clients, colleagues and students through her technical skills, ability to lead and mentor, and passion for inspiring the next generation. Kate is a dedicated Principal who has skillfully guided complex projects of varying scope through design and construction. Notably, she also leads the ACE Mentor Program in Fort Worth, an organization that supports high school students in their pursuit of architecture, engineering and construction fields.

 

 

Ken Kessler

Ken is an experienced architect who has served North Texas school districts and higher education clients for over 30 years. He specializes in managing comprehensive, fast-track projects and has a range of experience across the educational spectrum. Ken is a graduate of Texas Tech University and a registered architect in Texas. He is focused on achieving his clients’ vision and ensuring the technical aspects of scope, schedule and budget remain on track. He is ever-present throughout the process and provides guidance from planning to construction and beyond.
