Structural Project Lead

Currently we are seeking a talented individual for the role of Structural Project Lead to join our team. The Structural Project Lead, working under one or more licensed Professional Engineers, will be responsible for managing small to medium multi-discipline design projects and will participate in production of structural drawings – structural engineering analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, light-gage and wood structures.


• Work independently as project manager and provide oversight of assigned project tasks to staff
• Assist in the design, coordination, and production of construction documentation
• Participate in project kick off meetings, geotechnical report meetings, architectural design and coordination meetings
• Coordinate structural design with multi-disciplinary teams
• Conduct constructability and quality control reviews
• Responsible for the accurate completion of project specifications
• Perform structural design calculations for wood, concrete, structural steel, and masonry structures while following the approved structural design standards and procedures
• Review and respond to requests for information, request for price, and submittals
• Review contractor provided change orders and pier reconciliation logs for accuracy
• Perform observations and structural assessments of existing structures and structures under construction
• Produce 3D structural Revit models integrated with architectural Revit models
• Attend site observation visits and assist in the completion of site observation reports


• One year of relevant industry experience preferred
• Active Engineer-in-Training registration
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis or Architectural Engineering degree
• Master of Science or Master of Engineering degree
• Completed advanced coursework in Mechanics of Materials, Structural Analysis, Concrete Design, and Steel Design preferred
• Working knowledge in Revit, BIM 360, RAM, Tekla, and Enercalc, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
