Currently we are seeking applicants for a Director of Finance, who will provide strategic support to the Chief Financial Officer of MOREgroup through oversight and management of financial operations at Huckabee.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and promote a framework to drive financial accountability
• Oversee daily accounting team functions and operations
• Prepare financial reports and projections for leadership
• Maintain external relationships with banks, auditors, and third-party vendors
• Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, executive reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports
• Compare projections to actual; make or oversee any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets
• Maintain integrity of all revenues, ensuring organization policies and procedures
• Ensures compliance with accounting procedures through observation, supervision, and testing; in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Develops procedures that ensure project billings are complete and current
• Assist with tax preparation as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA designation preferred
• 7-9 years of management experience in finance; A/E/C experience preferred
• Knowledge of project based accounting concepts
• Proficient in database and accounting systems; Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus
