Currently we are seeking applicants for a Communications Coordinator candidate who will support Huckabee clients through strategic community relations campaigns, branding initiatives and communications plans designed to generate support from their community. The Communications Coordinator will generate content and help develop creative materials for bond elections, voter-approval tax rate elections, school district branding campaigns and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help execute client communication efforts, including comprehensive branding development, public relations plans, election campaigns, and stakeholder engagement strategies
  • Research, develop, and implement plans for client branding and communication efforts
  • Support communications team with strategy, messaging, and timelines for election campaigns and collaborate with communication and marketing teams to effectively execute deliverables
  • Support communications team in guidance of clients through community engagement and planning process for school bond elections and voter-approval tax rate elections
  • Guide community members through advocacy endeavors, including leading and supporting Political Action Committees and attending weekly meetings
  • Effectively communicate ideas, needs, and deadlines with graphic designers and digital media specialist for creative content
  • Develop voter analysis for clients and use the data to drive decisions and tactics
  • Update voter files and interactive dashboards daily during Early Voting and identify trends to inform strategy
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication to build connections and trust with clients and community stakeholders
  • Write messages and design materials as needed for print, electronic and social media initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PowerBI
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Illustrator
  • Travel as needed for client meetings, including evening meetings, and marketing efforts
