Client Invoice Specialist

Currently we are seeking applicants for a Client Invoice Specialist, who will provide support to the Client Invoicing Manager of financial operations at Huckabee.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete client invoicing process – from creation of invoice through distribution to client, post in accounting system (ERP)
    • Including AP Consultant invoices data entry – verify consultant invoice is billed according to contract, confirm correct general ledger account codes are used
    • Investigate and resolve challenges associated with processing of consultant accounts payable invoices
    • Maintain project budget and update fee changes
  • Track and process monthly client invoices
  • Attend (virtual) weekly office meetings
  • Prepare/create ad hoc project reporting as necessary
  • Maintain project records: perform project and opportunity review, inactivations and final processes on projects
  • Maintain relationship with client finance contact, resolve issues when needed
  • Support internal clients such as Principals and Office Directors with regards to client invoicing and consultant payables
  • Communicate with Principals and Office Directors for project status

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with Major in Accounting, Finance, or General Business
  • 3+ years of Accounting or Finance experience
  • Ability to multi-task by supporting multiple teams in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Customer-Service oriented
  • High degree of professionalism and strong people skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using computerized accounting systems; knowledge of accounting system related to professional services (Deltek), a plus
