Currently we are seeking applicants for an Accounting Manager, who will provide support to the Controller of financial operations at Huckabee.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform month end close
  • Prepare routine journal entries as well as adjusting entries when needed (ensuring proper support)
  • Record all cash receipts and perform bank reconciliation, investigate and resolve outstanding items
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and maintain appropriate support, investigate and resolve reconciling items
  • Prepare and enter intercompany entries
  • Maintain fixed asset log
  • Prepare preliminary financial statements with variance analysis
  • Prepare intercompany billings
  • Reviewing pending payables
  • Assist with accounting process documentation
  • Responsible for MOREgroup activities:
    • Taxes and extensions
    • Allocation of insurance
    • Allocation of debt payments
    • Allocation of intercompany expenses

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance or Accounting
  • 7+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Proven ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel skills
  • SQL and Deltek experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills
