We are seeking qualified candidates for a Staff Attorney opening to join our legal team, focusing on providing general corporate and contracts support to MOREgroup and our practice areas.

The Staff Attorney will be responsible for conducting day-to-day contract reviews, vendor agreements, leases, assisting with corporate documentation, licensing, regulatory compliance, drafting legal documents, overseeing litigation, and handling subpoenas and discovery requests.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Commercial contract reviews, drafting and negotiations including MSAs, commercial agreements, professional services agreements, leases and other corporate documents.
  • Review, negotiate, approve contracts, licenses, policies, correspondence and other documents related to business.
  • Assist with acquisition due diligence and other M&A activities.
  • Support corporate divisions with drafting and negotiating wide range of legal related communications, correspondence and documents for professional services for engineering and architectural services.
  • Collaborate with and support senior operations, administration, finance, human resources and leadership teams.
  • Monitor litigation and legal matters for the Company under the direction of the Chief Legal Officer.
  • Supervising and coordination outside legal counsel and advisors
  • Assist with risk management training and risk evaluation for business teams.
  • Analyze complex commercial/business concepts and identify legal issues and related risk: provide prompt clear legal analysis and solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-5 years of legal practice in general corporate law/commercial contracts or real estate experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar association
  • Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Previous experience with corporate and contract law is a plus

We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to support our Los Angeles team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient facility operations and overall cultural success of the office while managing their general daily administrative responsibilities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high-quality administrative support and resources across all brands, to all employees and all roles, whether remote or in-person
  • Greet all employees, visitors and vendors at the front desk, serving as the face of the Los Angeles office; offering a positive, personal, welcoming and professional environment at all times
  • Maintain a clean, visually appealing office environment for our employees and guests. Ensure upkeep of all spaces [including conference room] and conduct janitorial spot checks weekly
  • Handle general employee communications around facility procedures, cultural events, and office updates via email, Office and All-Company Meetings and Intranet formats
  • Plan and execute cultural initiatives and activities for the office, encouraging all brands collaboration and participation
  • Serves as main point of contact to Building Management and facility maintenance vendors, set and maintain expectations and handle any issues or requests
  • Answer, screen, and act upon phone calls as appropriate for our family of brands on the MOREgroup platform
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings utilizing Outlook calendars for conference rooms and Zoom and Teams for video conferencing
  • Maintain supply inventory, ordering supplies and coffee per brand standards list and according to office budget
  • Responsible for shipping, receiving, and distribution of mail
  • Provide project-based support for employees including: Scheduling continuing Education presentations, formatting specifications, large format printing/scanning, creating spreadsheets, writing meeting minutes or agendas and regulatory assistance
  • Work alongside Human resources and IT to assist with onboarding process for new employees, helping to facilitate trainings, meetings and coordinate paperwork
  • Prepare, setup/breakdown, and clean before and after office lunches, meetings, and events
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of two years of college or business school
  • 5+ years of administrative assistant experience in a professional services environment
  • Advanced MSOffice skills required and knowledge of general administrative protocols
  • Bluebeam experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Exhibit a can-do attitude and remain positive under pressure

We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to support the Houston Office. The successful candidate will support the Office Director while managing administrative responsibilities, facility operations, and will uphold Huckabee culture by greeting guest in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Open and close office, and welcome visitors upon arrival
  • Answer, screen, and act upon phone calls as appropriate
  • Serve as a partner to Office Directors, ensuring high-quality office service support for all Houston Office employees whether remote or in-person
  • Maintain a clean and visually appealing office environment and conduct janitorial spot checks daily
  • Provide project-based support for employees including: scheduling continuing education presentations, formatting specifications, large format printing/scanning, creating spreadsheets, writing meeting minutes or agendas and regulatory assistance
  • Handle general employee communications around facilities procedures, cultural events and office updates. Help to plan and execute cultural initiatives and activities for team
  • Work alongside Human Resources and IT to assist with onboarding process for new employees, helping to facilitate trainings, meetings and coordinate paperwork
  • Act as office liaison to building management company and point of contact for office administrative and facility related issues
  • Coordinate office security, emergency procedure training, and designate floor wardens
  • Maintain coffee machines and service areas
  • Prepare, setup/breakdown, and clean before and after office lunches, meetings, and event
  • Responsible for shipping, receiving and distribution of mail and packages
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned
