Huckabee is in the business of providing others opportunity to pursue their passion. It is written in our purpose statement that our goal is :
to provide committed, motivated professionals with integrity the opportunity to have an impact of excellence on the communities we serve through consistent delivery of quality and value.
We recognize the concept that no two people are the same and each possesses a strength that differs one from another. We believe in building upon and taking each person's unique strength to a much higher level to assist in the effort of developing a stronger team. By this concept, each Huckabeean develops their unique strength to a much higher level, creating confidence, and ultimately contributing to the team, making it stronger, with passion and skill. Overall, with the demand of consistently delivering excellent service to our clients, we become a more focused, process-driven team comprised of a diverse group of leaders who are passionate about their job and providing opportunities for everyone on the team.
Huckabee is dependant upon teams; therefore, we look around, outside our office walls, for examples from which we can relate in our continuing efforts to hone and grow them. We believe the best example is the sport of NASCAR racing. A team consists of the owner, driver, over-the-wall crew, engineers, shop fabricators and most importantly, the sponsors. Ultimately, their huge goal is to consistently win races, providing their sponsors airtime and, in the end, win the championship series: a goal most would argue is one of the hardest to achieve. Only one team, among 42 others, with the best communication, best process and the best people (in the right positions) will experience the glorious feeling of beating the best of the best. The differences between one team and the others, are small, tiny details that develop a huge separation between the winner and the rest. The differentiators are communication, process development, and teamwork.
Communication is the key to victory. The driver is expected to have the knowledge of the car's complete specs and must communicate and recommend adjustments during the race. Without a properly trained and motivated crew working the pits, the driver is nothing but a body behind the wheel of a car that will not perform to its complete potential. In the sport of NASCAR racing, the skill and ability of the driver will only get the team so far down the track. At Huckabee, we rely on the performance of our team to keep us all in the winner's circle.
Process development is the critical part that provides an advantage to the team performance in providing and executing the changes required to stay on the competitive edge. We understand that overlooking the small details is the difference between Good and Great. In NASCAR, one second late out of the pits can cost up to 10 positions.
Huckabee is dependant upon teams. Without them, Huckabee is nothing but just another architectural firm helping design another building. With these people in the pits, Huckabee and our clients can look forward to a long time in the winner's circle. Please take a moment and meet our teams meet your Team Huckabee.
